In other news, college is awesome - my hall is great, and I really enjoy my classes. British Lit is my favorite, definitely. The professor makes at least 5 Tolkein references each class, and he managed to get me excited about Chaucer. I now know that I'm going to be a full English major instead of doubling. The subject is so enthralling to me, and there's so much inherent variety in the works we can examine.

I'm on fall break right now, so I'm back in my own room in good old RVA. I had the opportunity to get together with the guys yesterday for a Magic sealed tournament. I'm terrible at Magic, but due to the mechanics of this I drew TWO MYTHIC RARES, both black, which I shoved into a black-white deck and used. Good times. Zendikar's got some nice mechanics (like landfall) that are fun to use and abuse.

Going to go shopping later today, at Ben Franklin and Target and other places. Due to the abrupt and sad cancellation of the RHPS shadowcast (I cried, really) I have to make a Halloween costume. Imma throw together a blueshirt costume out of an XL men's t-shirt (not the actual pattern, which I have - I left my sewing machine at school and I no has money to buy fabric). I'm also getting a bunch of costume and costume-part commissions, so I'm going to get supplies, too. And I'll go to Target to buy delicious trail mix and B&N to get a book.
